it’s more of a homage than a reboot/remake. there were some key scenes that i wondered “how ya gonna top that” and thankfully they didn’t try. they worked within the framework of the original. subtle wink and nod sorta thing.
as a huge fan of the original i can say, other than the weird CGI choices, it was good.

Original Road House wouldn't be worth watching were it not for Kelly Lynch. She makes everything worth watching.
