I cheer for the killer quite often though I get along well with teenagers irl; there�s definitely something rodiculous about these hypersexualised films where everyone goes to the cabin and immediately starts getting it on. Then again, I never understood why they have to be teenagers anyway. Adults can just as easily be gruesomely killed in the woods.

In real life yes but not in movies. Especially in American slashers you could swear they make them as annoying as possible so that you cheer for the killer.
