The Shoutbox
Well, it's that time of day again.

The Galactic one will be stopping by shortly, I imagine

Everybody needs to watch Creature Commandos and support the rest of Gunn’s vision. If this stuff doesn’t take off, his leash will get short, real quick. He’s the only hope we have for getting a unique Batman film.

I’ve got a take on that movie that I’ll reveal on my deathbed…

It’s weird how it felt too long, the finale felt like it was in a different movie, but…

The stuff that worked. The rawness of the Batmobile was what the creators of Kylo Ren’s lightsaber were dreaming about. The Penguin. The digital screen vista shots in the high rise. Zoe Kravitz.

It hit me like a ton of bricks.

It's got a 62% at rotten tomatoes, which is pretty good.
That's not exactly "fresh", tho.
No, but it's decent. So based on early critical consensus, I don't think it sucks.
Yeah, obviously I meant the consensus here. RT doesn’t tell one much these days.
Return of the Joker is a pretty good Joker that underneath everything is really not about the Joker if that makes any sense.
The People's Joker did more to reinvent and refresh the Batman characters than all of the studio movies of the last quarter century
I like my Batman with just the right amount of mommy and daddy issues. And that weren’t it
