Yeah it works on that level. I just didn't find marching all the past players on and off the screen that rewarding, entertaining, or funny. Maybe something like that would have worked better before syndication when you hadn't already seen those characters 100 times.
I suppose. I'm young enough to have not come to the show until about a decade after the finale aired so I guess the syndication issue didn't bother me so much.

"Friends" peaked from season 4 to season 8. Season 10 was the worst.
I think starting season 5 it was no longer as good, if I remember correctly. But not as good in "Seinfield" is better than most, still.

Ten twenty-minute episodes - that's about 200 minutes. He could watch Charlie's Angels twice in that time.
