in the first edition of The Hobbit, the character Gollum freely bets the ring in the Riddles in the Dark chapter. he had to rewrite it to make everything work.

It can be tough to start. I don't pretend that it's the easiest thing to do. I have a lot of practice.

One thing Jackson's version did do was inspire me to make my own fantasy films. I had the idea that I could make fantasy films too and that I'd enjoy my own style more so I've been making some for a few years. It's hard when you're recovering from surgery and need to take care of babies and have other issues except now I'm really getting into it.
