Is that series streaming anywhere?

It was on Netflix I think. The Mayfair Witches was there.

Only fault I find with Queen of the Damned is Lena Olin's character, Maharet , was a twin and she had no twin sister in the film.

I really liked the actors they had playing David, Jessie and Marius, who is my favorite character from the books.
I read the book as well, before watching it when I was still a kid. Didn’t care for the movie too much, but I don’t recall how I felt about the book.

I thought it was a terribly pretentious and overrated movie

I haven’t seen that in about twenty years, but remember not liking it, either. It’s sort of a bit trashy. It’s based on Anne Rice, isn’t it?

I like subtler, deeper vampire stuff like ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’ and the recent ‘Bones and All’ (couldn’t remember that title but knew Mark Rylance was in it, so had ti dig through filmography).

Yes, its Anne Rice. I started reading her erotic novels first, then the Vampire Chronicles and ended with Out of Egypt.

Blood and Gold was my favorite out of the Vampires and Belinda was my favorite of the Erotica. The Sleeping Beauty trilogy was a good read as well.
