No it didn't traumatize her.

And I encouraged her in things she liked. She wasc6 yrs old and watched them take a gall stone out of a puffer fish. Around 11 yrs old she asked if she could watch a sex change operation on Discovery Heslth. That one, I told her if it made her uncomfortable,  to change the channel.  She graduated top of her class in high school and has a degree in Biology.  

She's damn smart.
