A limited series can be more accurate to the book it is based on
The film, she does not remove her clothing.
Example and a more recent film
Redeeming Love , book by Francine Rivers. She is a Christian writer and the book is a retelling of The Book of Hosea from the Bible, set in the Old West.

Sarah aka Angel was sold into child prostitution. The book is very detailed. The movie touches on the topic. There are many scenes featured in the book that they didn't have time for in the movie. The movie would have been 4 to 6 hours long.

The last scene when she returns to Michael's homestead, as she walks across the field, she starts removing her clothing. The is a comparison to what Christianity teaches of " Striping away your old ways and sin and becoming anew". By removing her clothing, she is telling him, I am leaving my old life behind and accepting my future with you and God.

I have a hard back of the book, a soft back of it and on my Kindle as well.

It's a story to read when I want something good and wholesome.

I have read Francine's Gladiator series as well.

This deserves a thread. I was thinking about a tangentially related macro topic, and these things deserve a thread of their own.
I van name 3 books I have read, that were turned into films and so much detail was left out or changed.
It’s one thing when something is condensed for a different medium. I’m fine with that. But I enjoy high-concept books, and they unfortunately suffer the most from this squeezing. Also, odd as that sounds in our horror film renaissance, all subtlety/depth is usually left out of horror books when they are adapted for the big screen, and I hate that.
