Last I read they weren't sure if all those were stabs. Some were apparently punches/beatings, and the whole thing lasted only about, what? 15 seconds? He also might lose an eye. 

The story is clearly still coming out... slowly. I hadn't realized that bounty was still out on him, so perhaps it was partly an effort to cash in on that.[/quote]
