I'm a fast cut person for the most part. Either that or really long and/or tracking shots being my major cinematography thing. I like moving cameras. Robert Rodriguez once said if you use a tripod your film will be lifeless and stifled. And I've never really used a tripod since then unless it's 100% needed.
I'll be needing it in a few months for the most difficult shot I've ever been a part of. Like a whole day it'll take for this once shot, I think.

Oh yeah, and regarding scripts I've written five full length features. Two comedies, two tragi-comedies and one pure tradgedy, the one I'm currently fundraising for, and the one I'll hopefully be in Canada for the shoot in July for...

what style? did you feel uncontainable self excitement while writing them like you had to show them to someone else instantly?

I have self contained shorts that fit into a larger narrative as well, a theatre show with film clips, really. Some of them are fairly violent. Well acted and well made, I like to think.

I remember 10 odd years ago trying to do all sorts with my mates at school, we would constantly watch films thinking we can do better, unfortunately we couldn't for the life of us find anywhere to edit/cut/finalise our script + recording which was only meant to be a 10 minute short
never quite got the motivation afterwards to attempt anything sense... and I kind of trailed off of the movie path too

Well, it's not really important. It's basically the quality of the visuals, and I think the quality is pretty high in most of the clips (that being said, I'm hopefully going to go out and shoot some sort of noir-ish scene from Macbeth in the forest over the long weekend, just so I can add nice visuals...).
