Why? I've seen The Shining twice and think it's only good, but this part became a meme.

I, too, think The Shining is only ok. It�s good, not great. And I�m a huge Kubrick fan.
For me, the holy mountain of great Kubrick films are: A Clockwork Orange, Dr Strangelove, Paths of Glory, Barry Lyndon, and then 2001 A Space Odyssey.
