I enjoyed Lord of the Rings. I haven't read Dune. I've never looked into the story.

That's interesting. I didn't know that. I know he wrote it like in his 40s or 50s I think it was.

Yes, it is definitely much easier to just avoid them altogether...
in the first edition of The Hobbit, the character Gollum freely bets the ring in the Riddles in the Dark chapter. he had to rewrite it to make everything work.

It can be tough to start. I don't pretend that it's the easiest thing to do. I have a lot of practice.

I know they're popular though. I've never been a fan, even though I hadn't read the books until last year and this. The books are excellent though.
I have very little interest in reading either LOTR or Dune books, I feel life is too short as it is....
