Author! Author! is still playing on cable TV. I just ran across it a few times this year already. It's one of those constants that never really goes away.
Rudy has certainly joined its ranks in recent years. I don't think twelve people went to see that thing in the theater, or even rented it when it first hit the shelves at Blockbuster, but boy the number of times it runs on this cable channel or that one, you'd think it was Titanic.

BTW, I liked Author, Author when it ran on cable too.
I know that flick. Pacino was good in his version of Romantic Comedy mode, but overall it lacks some real cohesion and originality. An amusing enough diversion though, some of Al's interaction with the little tykes is fun, if a bit too sitcomy. A cable TV mainstay. Sure beats the ***** out of Revolution and Bobby Deerfield anway.
