I might have more of them than the usual, though. I've got pretty big feet, for one, a little on the wide side, for another. And one ankle is slightly (but noticeably, when wearing shoes) bigger than the other.

I have quite wide feet too but ice also got the added problem of some nerve isdue on my left foot due to a condition called Mortens Nuroma. Basicallt the nerve is enlarged many times more that it should be but the space its in is the same size. So when i qalk and have a flair up its like a hot needle being jabbed into your foot. Not fun at all. Really effected things like running and simple things like just walking so i need to be very picky with shoes
You've been cheating me
I've been cheating you
So lost in love

Are they hairy, too? Hi Frodo!
if it ain’t got a Vibram or an extra thick sole I ain’t buying it. The heels are always the first thing to go: I’m a heel striker.
And here I am daily wearing the same pair of boots for the past 8 years.
Yeah I've got way too many, though to be fair (to myself), a lot of them I got at thrift stores or on sale, so I haven't spent a ton of money on them. That said, I definitely have a few pairs I think I've either never worn, or only worn a couple of times.
I tend to rotate a few pairs at once. In winter, I tend to wear either brown Thursday boots, double monk-strap leather shoes, or brown derby shoes. If I am hitting a show, I might toss my Doc Martens on. If it's snowy and shit out, I have some beat Timberlands on.

Definitely opt for wide widths then. It makes a difference. In some brands I have to get the W or they'll feel too tight. And I don't really have wide feet, per se.

Your uncle, BTW, has flat feet. Like, FLAT feet. No arch whatsoever. He's had trouble getting shoes that are comfortable.
