Actually, yes. Over the last year, year-and-a-half, I find myself catching mistakes (usually just typos) after I've posted something more and more. I'm not sure I actually mistype any more than I used to, but I think I used to notice it immediately much more than I do now. I've been wondering why. I figure it could be a shortening attention span, maybe a penchant for thinking about too many things at once, just getting a little older, or some mix of things.
Yeah, that's similar to my experience too. I've had to spend considerably more time to proof my writing at work relative to just over a year ago. I've even found the start of a new sentence thought in the middle of another sentence. Like, I was thinking ahead planning the rest of the paragraph as I was typing my then current thought (I guess?) and that partial thought just ended up right there. It was an obvious two or three word bit that made NO sense where it was, but I did NOT see it as I typed it.
