First day of school tomorrow. Man, this is going to suck.
I'm not. I got it in an internet forward and I started wondering.

Just like, why do people pay money to ride all the way up to big buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?
I dunno. Why do people lift material from Steven Wright?
Why do people say "Let me put in my two cents" but say to others "Penny for your thoughts"?
Far out blibby.

I think you are reading too deeply into the question, though.

I think the guys who came up with the tree question probably came up with "The Dark Side Of The Rainbow"
blib, weren't you just posting in the "Marijuana: Do You Do It?" thread?
Back to this whole 'Noisy Trees falling in the woods' debacle (Only coz i am a foolish non-viewer of anything Milch.), i always thought the question had a more philosophical origin, really asking us whether the world as we know it, only exists for us, and not for eachother. Like suggesting that all that exists is all that we see, hear and experience. For example, your eyes are looking at a computer screen at this moment. You are aware of the space around you and the noises you hear from the surrounding areas. but how do you know that the world goes on, could it not be just your own personal world and no one elses?
That's true. I'll give Milch's series, whatever it is, a chance. We tend to stick with most HBO series far longer than we do with other network shows. The only HBO series we've not cared for are The Wire and Tourgasm. Odd that the second one was so horribly bad because Dane Cook is so hilarious. But it wasn't his standup in the show, really, so it just never worked for us. Have loved their other shows, though: Carnivale, Sopranos, Deadwood, Rome, Entourage, Lucky Louie, The Comeback (which isn't, I think, coming back), Curb Your Enthusiasm...

It's brilliant of HBO to have a handful of these series running at any given time, and the like...

Aaaanyways.....
We'll see, I reckon.
