Diabetic. Can't do that. Fortunately, I usually like stevia (except in the aforementioned lemonade). So I'll opt for Splenda in those instances when I can.
I should say "better" in a health sense.

I wish I liked stevia, I hear it's better, but I hate it. Even a little. Oh well.
For me the really big red flag is when someone apologizes for their behavior...and then later argues that it should be okay. That shows that either the apology was disingenuous, or that their promises go out the window when they're angry/upset/whatever. And from a moderation perspective, there's no meaningful difference between someone who's actively manipulative and someone with no self-control.

I always ignore the voices in my head and carry on killing.

Right. In Zotis case though, he very clearly liked to instigate you. He couldnt just leave something alone, and even when warned he had to push back like he was making some huge point. The topic about hate was a very odd hill to die on, and as Iro already stated, ironic
What's that old saying? When people show you who they are, believe them.

I usually don't believe them the first few times. The downside is a lot of needless hostility and distraction from more productive discussions. The upside is a totally clear conscience when I finally have to make the decision.
