I’m happy that work out so well for you. It’s hard to find people committed to living their best life.

Oh, I'd just quit or buy a new computer if that happened. And that last one wasn't even my computer, so it's not like I could have just said bye to it. lol
i sense ...pancakes, again.

what we ended up doing though, was where we rented the U-Haul (one of the local, mom and pop shops that also just happen to rent trailers), we asked if they knew anyone local to help pack and unpack. they gave us a name and number. I think I paid the first crew about $300 cash to load a truck, and maybe $180 cash for another two guys on arrival to help unload. it was still cheaper than paying a full-service crew to lose everything for us.
That does seem like a good price. When we moved our furniture a whole MILE from our old house to this one, we rented the U-Haul truck and paid a moving crew of four guys $25/hour each for more than nine hours. And THEY MOVED FAST. We had more stuff to move at a later date, so we ended up paying more than $1,000 to move our junk a whole mile.

I'll say this, though: BEST THOUSAND BUCKS WE EVER SPENT. I did NOT want to have to haul boxes and furniture myself! I just stood in the main entryway and directed traffic as it came in the front door!
Sorry for the crossed wires, I'd say it was unyintentional but I think the use of the devil in that previous whisper might give away that falsehood. Doggone emoticons (or whatever you're s'posed to call 'em these days) always attaching themselves and giving the game away
