Here's an example of a guy who's not in danger of experiencing a masterpiece.

Watching two masterpieces in the same day is both a blessing and a curse. Other films feel so inferior now, with bad films becoming simply unwatchable.
And when they say "buster", it's Buster Keaton, eh? Nobody ever talks about Harold Lloyd, though. Proof the guy is underrated.
Love it when somebody in an old Hollywood film calls a woman a tramp. The first thing it always makes me think is that she's likened to Charlie Chaplin, which is funny.
holy smokes, the HD stuff looks otherworldly
best part of the TiVo on the CRT is all the old 4:3 content looks spectacular
(hoping somebody gets my joke and doesn't misinterpret it as me not knowing the user Joel)

Betelguese x2 was not a good film. I went with a friend. We both were hoping Burton would out-do the original, but no. It was ridiculous padding and labored back and forth and forced dramatic dialog that made this unhinged. Lop off 20 mins down to 85 mins, and roll more jokes quicker, and you got a picture. But nope. Just goes to show. The 2nd F word was bleeped, as if to be self awarely funny. Nope. Just fuel to the fire. I liked the rock opera bit near the end, but the film literally took an hour and 15 mins to get to anything manic and cracking, and when it did..immediately, it went backwards again. Deolving. A true testament to human kind society in the eyes of all media now. Such a wicked embarrasment.
