Vader slicing through Rebel scum was epic, but this sequence makes the start of A New Hope silly. Vader just saw THAT ship make a break for it. Vader is now totally reasonable "Bullsh*t, you weren't on any mercy mission this time" Leia's denial pathetic ("Uh, no. We're just out for pizza.")
It was all right. Rogue One didn't really answer anything we didn't already know.
