Holds--Schroeder's actually short for Schroedinger, as in "Schroedinger's Cat." I used that in a story once and read everything I could find about it--fascinating stuff.
We have yet to try the squirt bottle, although I enjoy watching such antics at my friends' houses... I've just been too lazy to buy one. But now is the time, as they say, for all good men to come to the aid of their country.

Ever try a squirt-bottle to train the cat? I little well-placed water when kitty does 'bad' things really gets their attention. Gets to the point where you don't even have to actually squirt them, just going to get it stops the action most times.
