*Universal Soldier*
He's five foot two and he's six feet four
He fights with missiles and with spears
He's all of thirty-one
And he's only seventeen
He's been a soldier for a thousand years

He's a Catholic, a Hindu, an athiest, a Jain
A Buddhist, a Baptist and a Jew
He knows he shouldn't kill
But he knows he always will
Kill you, my friend, for me and me for you

He's fighting for Canada, he's fighting for France
He's fighting for the U.S.A.
He's fighting for the Russians
And he's fighting for Japan
And he thinks he'll put an end to war that way

He's fighting for democracy, he's fighting for the Reds
He says it's for the peace of all
He's the one who must decide
Who's to live and who's to die
And he never sees the writing on the wall

But without him how could Hitler have condemned them at Dachau
Without him Caesar would have stood alone
He's the one who gives his body
As the weapon of the war
And without him all this killin' can't go on

Yes he's the universal soldier and he really is to blame
His orders come from far away no more
They come from him, and you, and me
And brother, can't you see
This is not the way we put an end to war

Bigfoot is definitely NOT a hawaiian.
Hey, close game last night anyway....
Drink Tea.
Naisy is back, horray.
Whoooa! Whoooa! (I think that is American for, stop horse stop.) NOW...what about the chowdah?
Sure. Every team makes good and bad decisions...the difference is that the Yankees can afford to make far, far more mistakes than anyone else, and not feel it (Hideki Irabu, anyone?). They have a ridiculous margin of error to work with.

The more money you have, the less efficiently you have to use it. I may know more about baseball than say, you, but if you have twice as much money to field a team with, it probably won't matter.

Or, to put it in terms fitting to this venue: the Yankees are a $200 million movie that makes $210 million.
I don't pay much attention to baseball since I moved out of St. Louis (used to be able to walk to games)...but...how does overpaying players make you win? They have to be doing something else right....
