The Shoutbox
Arli$$ had its moments in its early days, but as the show went on it was pretty much the same shtick every episode.

And yes, Weeds is a fantastic show. Everyone should catch it on DVD. Season 2 just started and while it may not be as laugh-out-loud funny as the first season initially was, it still has the same loving effect and is doing good things with all its characters.
Holden: I never saw the two you said to avoid, so I can agree with you on those. I do like Entourage and Rome and The Sopranos and The Comeback, though. Never heard of Mr. Show...

As for Showtime, we keep debating downgrading our cable to not include Showtime, so the last thing I want to do is get hooked on a Showtime SERIES. I do like Hank Azaria, though, so Huff has been a slight temptation.
I must be the only person in the world who dislikes The Sopranos
'All HBO shows are good.'
No.

Please to avoid "Arli$$" and "The Mind of the Married Man", for two. But yes, in general it's difficult to go wrong with HBO original programming. For me "The Larry Sanders Show", "Curb Your Enthusiasm", "Deadwood", "Mr. Show with Bob & David" and "The Sopranos" are the best of the best.

I will say SHOWTIME is finally catching up a bit. "Huff" and "Weeds" are both grade-A shows. Track them down ASAP (both first seasons available on DVD).
'All HBO shows are good.'

Is this a true statement? Discuss.

Every one of their shows i have seen i would have to say yes. They were certainly good.
I've heard it's good
What is that show?
Sorry, John. I'm watching "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Another fine HBO series.
Ah, this episode was about Pro-choice/Pro-life. Wasn't the best episode. Not even close.
Not me. I just got done with a 5 episode run of The Simpsons.
So how many people here are watching 30 Days right now?
