The Shoutbox
Oh, drat. And somehow I've been walking around all this time.

But I do love Billy West to pieces.
So you were only an episode and a half shy of the button's introduction.
No, I watched "Ren & Stimpy" when it was brand new in the early-'90s. I loved Billy West from the Howard Stern show and of course I like dark and weird stuff so I was happy to check it out and see what it was, but there was no there there for me.
Of course you did, Holden. Everything bores you unless you saw it first. And if we like it, you ipso facto are bored with it.
But man, what an episode and a half!
I tired of Ren & Stimpy after about an episode and a half.
I got it.
Well, naturally, I got the joke, being a longtime R&S fan. Can still hear that guy saying, "The beeeauuutiful shiny button!" while flapping his butt in the air. (You have to see it to know what I mean.)

I can see how it'd confuse others, but I'm okay with keeping it -- maybe just make the "cancel" button very obvious??
Well, it's not exactly supposed to "make sense." It's a reference to one of the more popular episodes of Ren & Stimpy.
Yeah, I'm not crazy about that term either. Nor does it make sense. The first dozen times I used it I had to make sure I wasn't about to delete the post before I even posted it.

History Creator Button, while an awkward mouthful, is more apt.
Am I the only one who feels just a twinge of hesitation in submitting a post or shout when it's labeled "History Eraser Button"?

I am? Okay, just checking.
