Well, duh. But our house was built before, like, electricity.
That's why if you ever build a house, have them put PVC pipe up through the house to each room. Then you can run CAT5, cable, telephone, and just about anything else that comes out in the future.
Hubby put CAT5 cables throughout our 100-yr-old+ house, and wow, that was NOT fun. Even though he knows the house (third generation living here), finding spots in the walls for the cables was, well, an adventure.
Ah. I'd have that puppy hooked up through CAT5 and have it everywhere in the house.
Not to stream everywhere. It stays connected to the main TV it is used for, and then can wireless stream files to any other room of the house from there, should it be needed.

Plus since it is a Shuttle, I can just take it anywhere I want.
Letters From Iwo Jima is getting decent buzz. It appears to be the better of the two Eastwood war flicks.
I installed Opera last night to see if I could get snowflakes and that's a positive. But I love Firefox too much and I will not forsake her!!
Then stop grumbling about it, start something more esoteric and see how it flies.
God, I hate the endless "what's your favourite.....?" threads in the General forum.
My comp is across the house from my living room. I rarely fire it up at home anymore, since I am at my desk on a dual workstation all day, almost every day, I figure that is enough comp time for this cat...

Been trying to read, play music, spin records etc. more these days, getting away from being jacked in all the time.

I did appreciate the V. Mars discs though, Peter. Thanks again for those! Keep on hackin!
It's the snowflakes you can't see, John.

Actually, I dunno. I find this site always a lot slower to load than other sites.
