The structure of the ensemble piece makes Babel seem complicated. As such, people feel they're above average due to some insane complexity and depth. The fact that the ensemble structure merely hides the shallow and empty vapidness of their crappiness is beyond the comprehension of people who have no business giving out awards in the first place.

Babel is flat out garbage.
Oh BTW, I'm very happy Babel got the award.

Don't feel too bad BobbyB. At least The Departed got best director. Must you be so greedy?
Probably because they thought it was better? Geez BobbyB, that's like asking how someone won a football game. They had more points. Dur.
What. The hell.

How did Babel beat out The Departed at the Globes?
Mmmmmm ... ibuprofen ... Oh, wait. You probably didn't mean that. How about some of my husband's leftover Darvocet. Mmmm....
The other half is medication Aus...mmm...valiummm....
Yes, Hugh Laurie got the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Series. Woot!
He's either yelling or he's whispering hoarsely.

Adi ... what's the OTHER half? No one ever tells me the OTHER HALF!!!

(watching "24" now!!)
Aus, admitting you have a problem is half the solution.
Speaking of 24, I know why I don't like it. Jack yells too much.
adi, I actually *don't* sit and watch a lot of TV. That's why it takes me so long to get caught up on shows, even with DVDs sitting on top of the TV! I've had these "Firefly" DVDs for a month now.

I have favorite shows, and that's about it. I have totally gotten out of the habit of just clicking around the channels looking for something to watch. If there's nothing I had a mind to watch, I go do something else.

Usually.

T-minus two hours till "24."
