Oh yea, I almost forgot.

Happy Darwin Day!!
Wow. That made no sense.

BRILLIANT!
Does it make your inner fluids evacuate en masse the way Iced Earth does?

Hmm, my unconscious informs me that one winking smilie will not be enough to counter-act that previous statement.

(Adi, it also tells me i will be posting large amounts of
everywhere i possibly can. Unless someone invents a brass band filter )
Daysend just put a new song on their MySpace from the new, yet to be released, album. It's alright. The other two they put up before it were much better.
Ok. I just ordered a new pair, as my Sony MDR-600s I have had for years for home use just toasted the left side, just last night... It's a wonder they lasted as long as they did, as they were my main set of DJing cans for many a year, and went to many an outlaw party under a bridge or in a warehouse. They were dropped, pulled, traded, tossed, pushed, pulled, swing around....they really took a beating.

Anyway. I was about to buy another pair of the MDR-600s, but I got sidetracked by a slew of great reviews for the Seinheiser HD-280s. They don't fold (the sony folds), but for music reproduction, these seem to be the best deal for under 100$. If you can spend more, check out the Bose line of home headphones, which are just incredible, but a bit lofty for me right now, on my tight budget...
Home, I suppose. If they were small and compact enough it'd be cool to use them with my iPod, but I'm content to stick with earbuds out and about. If I had to sacrifice price and depth of sound for portability, I wouldn't.
I have done a ton of research on them recently... Looking for portable or home cans?
Speaking of headphones, Mike, can you recommend something nice, but reasonably affordable? I have a pretty pedestrian pair right now, and really long for a richer, fuller sound, but am wary of spending a lot without any assurances that it'll be worthwhile.

Plus, I'm all crazy picky about how they feel (most are uncomfortable after even 20-30 minutes). I've had a pair or two that I LOVED the sound and size of, but felt tight and uncomfortable after a few minutes.
Isn't that a metal bad or something? A far cry from FSOL, for sure...
Check out Iced Earth, Golgot. They're awesome.
Yay, Golg is back!! Looking forward to more drunken shouts in the middle of the night.
