I find it hilarious that 300 hasn't even come out yet, but there is so much hype surrounding it, that votes have already propelled it into IMDb's top 250.

Nice.

I really like it when the awards are distributed more evenly. Years like '98 when Titanic won eleven or 2004 when Return of the King won eleven, they're just tedious. When the "big winner" nabs only four Oscars, that's much more interesting.
As it turns out, I agree... but I'm not sure The Departed deserved any of its Oscars, and it still somehow won the most. I might agree with the Editing win, but I haven't seen all the nominated films in that category to say one way or the other.
Very funny, Holds...

I guess everyone else knew.

Oh well...
Did you guys know that Waylon Jennings was a scheduled passenger on the plane the crashed on February 3rd, 1959 killing Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and The Big Bopper?

Bobby just found out.
Did you guys know Mark Wahlberg was a scheduled passenger on United 93?
