Yoda: could you give me an example of someone who might benefit from global warming?

I just made my mom watch The Most Hated Family in America.
You should never, ever doubt Judd Apatow. His involvement is a quality assurance seal of approval beyond any advanced review can begin to guarantee.
That's the chick in Roswell aint it.
I admit, I'm looking forward to it, too.

I like that there seems to be a mini-troupe spinning off from the so-called "Frat Pack," with a bit of mild overlap (Rudd, Carrell). I like just about all of them and I like that they seem committed to keep making movies together.
Because all of this stuff costs time, research and money. It'd be like the drug companies agreeing that cancer doesn't exist. That would gurt them, a lot. The same way with oil companies saying global warming is real, it will hurt them a lot. But, that's just my thoughts.
Well, you're certainly right about oil companies. I'm simply saying that, in the same way oil companies have an interest in denying global warming, many powerful people have a stake in saying it's real; some financially, and quite a few more reputationally.
Yoda: that's why I can't see people actively supressing the "it's a myth" angle. Because all of this stuff costs time, research and money. It'd be like the drug companies agreeing that cancer doesn't exist. That would gurt them, a lot. The same way with oil companies saying global warming is real, it will hurt them a lot. But, that's just my thoughts.

I'm going to Grindhouse tomorrow.
just got back from Grindhouse...HOLY CRAP! what a fun ride!
NHL Playoffs starts next week. Yay! And my Canucks are actually in it this time.
Woohoo! Just got a copy of "The Other Boleyn Girl" screenplay.

Now it's time to dangle it in front of traders on IMDb

Of course, you guys know I'd always share with my MoFo brothers and sisters
Oh, I'd say it does, if enough people believe it. We're talking about enacting legislation and various forms of conservation, and we're obviously pouring copius amounts of dollars into research on the matter. And there's simply the time the issue takes that would have been focused on other problems, too. If global warming is a myth, all this makes for quite a bit of waste, I would say.
