The Shoutbox
I know by it's nature it's like that but, I hadn't heard anything NEW lately that was even touching on politics.
Lately??

Dude... Rock is, by it's very nature, a subversive political movement... Megadeth has always been highly charged, politically, with Dave Mustaine being a champion of rock politics for decades now. I mean, they broke out with "Peace Sells, but Who's Buying?", back in the mid 80s, and all the butt-rockers at my high school were all of a sudden politically savvy activists, according to them. Meanwhile, since rock's inception, it has, for the most part, been about fighting the system, takin down the man, spy satellites watching our every move etc etc...

Either that or getting laid.
Without spoiling stuff, I missed the, errrr, now-obvious part of the ending. I blame it on glare on my TV set in middday.
I reposted some of my thoughts in the BR thread, as requested.....
Yoda, if you heard Harrison Ford narrating then you saw the theatrical version. The director's cut had no voiceover narration.
You know, I've noticed that a lot of new albums being released here lately have a political underlying. Ozzy Osbourne, Dream Theater, and Megadeth to name a few.
That'd be the one I saw, I think?
The other ending spoils the film, actually...
Good idea, Sedai.... I hope it doesn't spoil the other ending, though. (I have it next on my Netflix list now.)
And so it begins, the foreign film binge of Summer 2007.
I can move the shouts in there iffin' ya'll want.
