Honestly, I think it should go to Fury Road. Innarritu's revenant was beautiful and well acted, but had a lot of flaws that I think people have overlooked due to the how good those two things are.

Honestly, I liked Hateful 8 substantially more than the Revenant. It reminded me a lot of the stage version of And Then There Were None.

I think that this is a year where there could be a huge upset. I think Spotlight is the most likely to win, but I think The Martian or Bridge of Spies could steal it away.

1. Abysmal wast of celluloid
