Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018)
★★★★★★★
7/10. The plot felt unusually choppy for a Potter film, but as a whole I enjoyed it. Swimmingly good-looking film.

Re: Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them 2
Just got back from a late screening where I live. It appears a lot of people (on the internet mostly) didn't like the film, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Many are critiquing the film's abundance of...

As a Swede I'm surprised I didn't already know this is getting an American remake. Shame, honestly - it really doesn't need it. Brilliant flick that I always recommend to people asking for strong...

The Intouchables (2011)

8/10. Full of clichés, but they're so skillfully handled. Watching French actors on their a-game is nothing short of a delight.

7/10. Top-notch acting, the story is intriguing, and it's really only because it's black and white, which I personally find off-putting, that it doesn't get a top...

Blue Is The Warmest Color (2013)

8/10. Bravo! Could very well be my best film of 2013. Highly recommended if you're a heterosexual male.

I hadn't heard of this before I saw it on the telly yesterday. Definitely came as a surprise, how good it was. Got sucked right into it even when it was half-in. Incredible acting all-over....

3/10. Bland and boring more so than generic and dull. At least Into The Spider-Verse looks good.

Lynch might be stretching it, but I would've thought at least Fincher and Scott were more well-known. Anyways, the explanation from Mr. Lister makes sense.

Re: The Planet's Most Famous Film Directors
I feel as if David Fincher, David Lynch and Ridley Scott are all more well-known film directors than Woody Allen, but I guess that just has to do with my taste in them.

5/10. Disappointing considering the cast and crew. Not a bad film in any way, but a lot less engaging than it could have been.

Re: The Planet's Most Famous Film Actors
Pretty spot on. Though Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Clint Eastwood, George Clooney can't be far off the male list. Same with Natalie Portman, Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone on the female side.
