Re: Star Trey Beyond Bad: Has the shark finally been jumped?
This is the age of "cash in quick" and film is slowly dying and becoming outdated by Netflix and tv streaming sites. Instant gratification and a slowly declining attention span of people is killing...

Re: Best Movie In a Horror Series
The first Saw made decent money in the box office and since DVD sales were so lucrative they made more
the "Saw" films still had a cool idea and they ran with it. They are bad though, even awful,...

Re: Best Movie In a Horror Series
The first Saw is what horror is all about. Absolutely loved it and Wan still has yet to top it, it's sad he's now making furious 7 and the insidious bullcrap

It's certainly wildly inconsistent with its quality. But I think it's an extremely fresh and original stand up episode on superhero movies and cliches. It ultimately BECOMES exactly what it's making...

Re: SPOILER THREAD: Discuss "Star Wars: The Force Awakens"
I can't say that I hate it, per se. It's clearly the best of the prequels by quite a bit, and as I mentioned above, there are some great scenes. However, I think the opening scene is a good way to...

Birdman is awesome IMO
The Room and Troll 2 aren't bad, they are a spectacle of ineptitude that can pass as riveting entertainment.
Dumb and Dumber 2, Twilight: New Moon, thank god I can't...

Re: Question about Batman vs. Superman...
Eisenberg was truly obnoxious as Luthor, kills the first hour of the film.
I kinda liked him after he gets more dark and complex but jeez he's terribly over the top in early scenes

To Cosmic, yes I found the humor to be very feminine and more geared towards things that girls would have more interest or connection with.

Swayze I think got his due diligence in Hollywood, you don't think he was a star?
Keanu is pretty rough in parts with dialogue delivery I agree

Kathryn Bigelow's Point Break
Oh my god.
I love this film.
Sure, it's cheesy for the 90s vibe it has, the somewhat ludicrous plot, the somewhat ludicrous character motivations.
But when it kicks into gear it is a thing of...

I didn't mean to sound sexist with my comment sorry if I did.
When I think about it, the viewpoint I have will probably be seen as subjective to you, maybe it's just dependent on taste in comedy....

How was the first SW Amatuer?
Or any of them?
JJ compared to Lucas? Compared to Irvin Kirshner?
Anyways, seeing as you hate the prequels, yes I see our taste being vastly different.
