I bought them because I don't own that many horror movies and I remember liking the first one a lot (I had never seen the other two).
I really enjoyed this trilogy.

Superbad!
Or try Grease 2.
Both films deal with male characters re-inventing themselves to get the ladies, because their normal personas can't manage the task. :dizzy:

Oh I just watched The Thin Man recently and I must say I really enjoyed it. For the most part I found it to be a pretty good adaptation of the book (though it has been about a year since I read it)....

When it comes to Star Wars I am a purist. I hate the "Special Editions" and I shudder at the acting in 1-3...

If we look at another side of the coin, Carrie (the original) is one of the most emotionally violent films I've ever seen. The way she is treated by her schoolmates and her mother sickened me.

I haven't seen the extended cut of Death Proof but I did see Grindhouse in the theater and thought it was amazing. Planet Terror was interesting, but I didn't like it nearly as much as Death Proof....
