I think you should investigate web distribution and cut-out the middle man. You can get cheap web-storage products now and set up a webpage where they can pay you via paypal to download the movie.

I think regardless of legal copy right, the small scale of operation you are planning makes it impractical for any copy right owners to pursue you.
