I watched The Irishman yesterday. I'll give it a 7.9/10.

I'm not sure right now that it will go down in Scorsese's true classics, although there's always time to change my mind with more viewings...

The Trueman show was better than both, that should have won best picture, but it wasn't even nominated.

Apart from that, I'd choose Saving Private Ryan over Shakespeare In Love.

As I was in my teens when it came out, and titilation wasn't on tap, then this film definitely served its purpose from my point of view. So I have total respect for it.
