I've had a blue ray player since 09 but I only have a handful of blu-rays. Too many titles that I'm interested are still DVD only, especially since I watch a lot of documentaries and foreign films.

I didn't watch many releases in 10' but The Human Centipede was passable especially considering how much attention it got. Bad acting and anticlimactic. I didn't even think it was that gruesome. ...

They place a lot of emphasis on the violent scenes in this movie. I've seen horror films that are less brutal.

I use a ps3 as well. I'm not sure who well it holds up in comparison to the new players since my PS3 is an 08 model. Back then it was really good.

I just bought a 24" monitor and I use my PS3 for Blueray. About as basic as you can get. The picture quality is nice and I got it for less than 200.

Edit: I'm thinking of swapping out my monitor...

Great review on The Blob. I used to be terrified of that movie when I was a kid from the trailer alone. Saw it again recently and it held up pretty well after all these years.
