I think there is something great about Paul Thomas Anderson, but I always find myself without any NoDoze when I try to get though one of his films.

I'm not saying anything new, but Francois Truffaut's films have the most exquisite sadness. Best examplesare Jules and Jim, Two English Girls, and Small Change.

He's brilliant. I'd say Billy Madison is his best performance. Punch Drunk Love is great for his dramatic side.
He's a master, complete master at portraying a man/child.
