My favorite era is definitely 1975-1995. There are movies in the late 70s like Star Wars, Alien, Jaws, Halloween, Carrie, Godfather, Close Encounters of the Third Kind that are better than movies...

Yes really. I know there is nothing wrong with a novel being made into a movie if it is done well. Something I love about a good story when it is completely original though.
