Question about the climax to Wait Until Dark (1968).

Re: The fate of 1917 at the oscars and how it was inevitable

That's true, my favorite war movie is probably The Battle Of Algiers, which hardly has any character development, and is very situation based. Schindler's List is also a favorite which has a lot...

Well I watched the movie. It was good and pretty impressive, but I guess I could see what people mean when there is not much for character development? Perhaps it should be viewed the same way as a...

Re: Movies You Like w/ No Likable Characters?

Re: Martin Scorsese, super genius

I think Scorsese has good movies too, however, do you think that sometimes he over edits his movies? It seems that a lot of his movies since Goodfellas and after, he has maybe a tendency to overcut...

A Clockwork Orange. I know it's considered to be a big classic, but I felt that the story became repetitive in the last third, and didn't really know how to end or explore it's subject matter that...

I thought that the movie was not actually a sequel but another movie altogether, but then they tried to remarket it as a sequel afterward, unless I am wrong on that?

Re: Lucy

I think the problem with the idea is the villain, and he just didn't have a strong enough motivation and to sacrifice all his men like that, and they just needed a different villain altogether.
