And as for Soderbergh, I'm not too much of a fan of any of his later films that I've seen but he had an excellent run there with Out of Sight, The Limey, and Traffic.

Yeah I had The Limey on my list too at #16. It's too bad it didn't make it - great film and perfect example of the neo noir genre. I'll second Holden's rec here and it's worth watching, Mofoers.

Top quality Coen films here with Fargo being one of my all-time favourites and No Country not too far off but I didn't include either on my list. I'm fine with the choice I made.

There are a few movies that just get better and better every time I go in for a rewatch, and Blue Velvet is one of them. Currently my favourite David Lynch film. It's just so perverse and brilliant....
