I would join that! There are tons of great German films. I keep thinking about nominating Mephisto for something but it's quite long, I'm not sure how popular a choice it would be.

I can totally see why you feel that way, I've thought that about other films, I just didn't see this one that way. I think all the characters are such crazy caricatures that he doesn't stand out...
