Re: Rhys' Fabulous Viewing Diary of Fabulousness
Ryan Gosling was laugh out loud funny quite a bit of the time, but I thought the third act was a bit of a mess. Decent film overall so I don't think any of us disagree that much here. Never heard of...

Re: Rhys' Fabulous Viewing Diary of Fabulousness
Glad you enjoyed American Psycho and After Hours, especially the latter. I would consider them both to be dark comedies. Btw, you forget to change the description under the posters of them both.

Re: Rhys' Fabulous Viewing Diary of Fabulousness
Hated the Nightmare on Elm Street reboot but still have to see the original, which I'm looking forward to. Enjoyed Juno a while back, but not so sure I'd enjoy it as much now, I'm a fan of the...

Re: Rhys' Fabulous Viewing Diary of Fabulousness
I've only seen Pickup on South Street, but that's a great noir. He also makes a cameo appearance as himself in Pierrot Le Fou :p I want to watch Shock Corridor, The Naked Kiss and The Big Red One...

Re: Rhys' Fabulous Viewing Diary of Fabulousness
I watched The Kid recently and thought it was a very good film, although I prefer everything else I've seen from Chaplin. I need to watch more Samuel Fuller.

Re: Rhys' Fabulous Viewing Diary of Fabulousness
I liked both Django and The Ladykillers enough, although I think both of them were slightly underwhelming considering their reputations.

I give Inside Out the same score, glad you enjoyed that. I saw the first Ted and enjoyed it well enough at the time, although have no desire to watch it again, didn't hear too much about the second...

Nice one, let us know how it goes. I might have gone if I was still in Cardiff as they're doing the same there :)

Re: Rhys' Fabulous Viewing Diary of Fabulousness
Had no idea Truffaut made more films with the character from The 400 Blows, which I still haven't seen. It's probably the most well loved film that I haven't watched, and I say this every time...

Re: Rhys' Fabulous Viewing Diary of Fabulousness
The Wicker Man is a good film, and you're rating is fair :p I love it's low budget British feel and the cult stuff like the masks, but I only watched it last year so it's not an absolute favourite...

Re: Rhys' Fabulous Viewing Diary of Fabulousness
I would rate/rank those three films pretty much the same that you have there. Iron Man, then Captain America, and then Thor.

You can have rep for sitting through Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 :p I remember seeing a trailer for What We Do in the Shadows and thought it looked like it could be an inventive and funny little film,...
