Just finished watching 12 Years a Slave. Phenomenal piece of work, that film is. It was admittedly difficult to sit through due to its subject matter, but I'm glad I saw it all the way.

Just finished Mulholland Drive. Gotta say, I loved it! It's weird and surreal, but everything somehow makes sense in the end. Definitely putting this movie in my top 10, I love it that much.

Just saw Insidious. Gotta admit, the acting and build-up was great, but the final act, though it was solid, disappointed from the sheer terror that the majority of the first two acts promised. 3 1/2...

Star Wars Episode IV on Spike TV tonight. I know it's the extended cut people seem to loathe, but I've seen all the versions and I'm not the least bit bothered by the added scenes.

Watching Avatar on FX tonight. And unlike some hipsters out there (no offense to anybody) I actually like this movie enough to put in my top 10, which some would consider either brave or stupid.

I'm watching Pulp Fiction tonight. I never thought it would be possible, but I like this film better than Star Wars (formerly my #1 movie series of all-time).

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Swedish version). Saw it once last night, and I thought it was great. It followed the novel very closely apart from a few switched details here and there.
