Yes moi is another who spent money on it! I spent extra for a premier seat in the cinema, bought the score music CD, will buy the blu-ray when released(hopefully a steelbook like the original films)...

^ Weaver's cameo is right at the end and she plays Holtzman's old science mentor and Annie Potts does indeed have a cameo.

^ Indeed, they don't take a pop at the 'fans of the original film' - just the idiots who are getting so angry and vile over a fictional film, and that's very different(and it's mostly at youtube...

Indeed, plenty of good reviews out there. Rodent, you either haven't looked very hard or fibbing because you don't like the fact that there are decent and good reviews out. :p

And The X-Files hasn't either. A third film is on the way, it's just a matter of when. And they need it to finish it off perfectly after that terrible second film didn't... :D
