Electric is so much easier to play as the strings bend nicely and don’t have that harshness of an acoustic. Classical however would be great for fingerpicking but more of a stretch on your fingers...

I think SOAD will require different alternate tunings to play their songs. I detune to drop D for quite a few songs but to do all the strings can be a real pain.
