I, on the other hand, think it's way too low. It was #3 on my vote. Such a brilliant film and a huge travesty that the remake placed higher (this is IMO, of course).

I liked The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and consider it top-3 slasher. Unfortunately I don't like slashers that much so such recognition wasn't enough to land it on my list.

I used to like The Fly a lot but last time I rewatched it I wasn't really impressed. Didn't vote it (couldn't fit a single Cronenberg on my list and The Fly would barely make top-5 of his horrors).
