Honestly, 144 (which they did in 1995) or 154 or something was kind of my plausible "hope" for a shortened season. That's not too bad.

Not yet. The NHL restructured its entire league to reduce the risk of the upcoming (shortened) season. I have a feeling baseball's gonna try to do things "normal," like the NFL did, though.

Yeah, Not Astros was my big hope. I like the Rays, great story, some former Pirates that deserve to succeed, fun team. Dodgers, just amazing team, clearly the best team in baseball, so it's win-win....

Baseball's random game-to-game, but with enough games that stuff almost always evens out. And if you try to judge a sit or a start based on each individual result you'll go nuts and confirmation bias...

He might be done. I expect he'll at least try to keep going, and athletes seem to be able to play at a high level longer in general, so I wouldn't rule it out.

But yeah, if he knew how this year...
