Both sound lovely, but I would always pick the kid. I adore children and have been babysitting for years and years.

Can I choose neither? If I must choose, I'd pick the dog. IRL I do some petsitting from time to time but no dogs. They're too much work.

The toddler. I love dogs but not a fan of Labradors, don't like to group but I haven't liked them for years since one attacked our dog and tried to bite her.

I'd rather babysit a three-year old child. I'm good at taking care of children. I hate taking care of dogs.

The dog, and I do dogsit and dog walk for people. Nothing against kids but I have no experience.

You can read to my granddaughter for hours. She has a thing for books like her father.

Honestly that wouldn't bother me. I used to read for my kids all of the time. I don't so much now vis one can read on his own and the other has his granddad read for him. That would be cool to do.

I absolutely love kids. Doesn't matter even if they are like those energiser battery rabbit, full of energy & handful. Kids are the most adorable things on the planet.


I have never had a good relationship with dogs. I blame Cujo for it. Watched it as a kid. Scarred me for life.


We have a clear winner in my case.

I would probably go with the dog.

Dog, hands down. At least the dog doesn't talk back...or demand snacks every five minutes!

Depends on how long and under what circumstances. Kids are great, fun to talk to, especially at that age. They say incredible and hilarious things all the time if you listen to them and take them seriously. So for anything under the majority of a day, probably the toddler.
