One of my favorite films featuring Gloria Grahame. I think she gives one of her most unique performances here.

So I guess they tried to make Gassman a star in America but it didn't work out
Grahame had four movie releases in 1953, the year after win an Oscar for BS Actress in The Bad and the Beautiful Douglas Spencer in this one playing a cop. He played the reporter in The Thing From Another World, 1951 |
Re: The Glass Wall (1953): the hownos/Allaby viewing session
I've seen two films from this director, Fear in the Night and The Naked Street.

So like in 3 minutes? Can you or Allaby post when you see Gloria Grahame's name in the credits. I have the movie on my computer and cued to start from that point.

Another film noir with narration, like last week's movie.

Vittorio Gassman was in 121 feature films. I've only seen 3 of them.

Re: The Glass Wall (1953): the hownos/Allaby viewing session
I can't really watch the film and post at the same time on my computer, so I'll probably just read what you guys post later as I'm missing the movie as I type!

The audio and video is better on this one than last week's movie, Canon City.

they seemed oblivious to the existence of the concentration camps. which was kind of true in 1945 or so.

Re: The Glass Wall (1953): the hownos/Allaby viewing session
Gassman born in 1922 seemed to avoid any war service.
